Beat maker Billy Hoyle is a fiend for Brazilian music. And this latest project is a small expression of that. Billy recently sampled a track off the 1966 album from Baden Powell & Vinicius de Moraes "Os Afro Sambas", and after enjoying the process so much, decided to flip the whole record.

N'fa Jones, being a cohort and good friend of Billy Hoyle, couldn't get enough of the record, and eventually decided he had to take a shot at writing over the instrumental pieces, as they felt so fit for vocals.
The challenge was making it sound like it had all been written together, and not sound like it was recorded in his garage late at night while his children slept!
Done in secret, N'fa finally shared his work with Billy, who gave it the heavy nod, and so here it is..
